ABOUT / 02

Senior engineers. No middlemen.

Kedrilo Forge is a focused engineering partner for teams that need their web platform to perform under real load, evolve with real requirements and survive real deadlines.

We are not a staffing agency, a design studio or an outsourcing farm. We are a small team of senior full-stack engineers who work directly with product owners, CTOs and internal platform teams. No account managers, no handoffs, no lost context.

Every engagement is led by the people writing the code. Architecture decisions, code reviews and deployment pipelines are owned by us from day one, and shipped with the same discipline we would apply to our own products.

01
Architecture before pixels. We design the data, the API and the edge before we touch the UI.
02
Ship boring technology. Postgres, Redis, Node, Go. Stable stacks that your team can maintain.
03
Observable by default. Logs, metrics and alerts ship with the first deployment, not the last.
04
Direct access to builders. You talk to the engineers. Every call, every commit, every incident.

We started Kedrilo Forge because too many teams were paying agency rates to get junior output wrapped in senior slide decks. We wanted to build the opposite: a small firm where the people selling the work are the same people shipping it.

PROCESS / 03

From brief to production. In four moves.

No black boxes, no surprise invoices. Every engagement follows the same disciplined pipeline — you always know what is happening, what ships next and what it costs.

01

Discovery & Audit

We dig into your codebase, infrastructure and business goals. You get a technical assessment, not a sales pitch.

Output Technical brief + risk map
Timeline 3–5 days
02

Architecture & Scope

Data models, API contracts, infra diagrams. We lock the scope and the price before a single line of code is written.

Output Architecture doc + fixed quote
Timeline 1–2 weeks
03

Build & Iterate

Weekly production deploys, shared kanban, direct Slack channel with the engineers. You see progress in the browser, not in slides.

Output Working software, every week
Timeline 4–12 weeks
04

Deploy & Operate

CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting and runbooks. We hand over a system your team can own — or stay on as operators.

Output Production system + docs
Timeline Ongoing
WHY KEDRILO FORGE

Built different, on purpose.

We made deliberate trade-offs: smaller team, higher standards, fewer clients. Here is what that means for you.

Senior-only team

No juniors learning on your budget. Every engineer has 6+ years in production systems. The person scoping your project writes the code.

Fixed scope, fixed price

We quote after architecture, not before. The number on the contract is the number on the invoice. No hourly surprises.

Direct line to engineers

No account managers, no translators. You share a Slack channel with the people committing code to your repository.

Production-grade from day one

CI/CD, monitoring, structured logging and alerting ship in sprint one. Not as a "phase two" that never comes.

Architecture-first thinking

We design data models, API contracts and infra topology before UI. The result: systems that scale without rewrites.

Yours to keep

Clean code, full docs, runbooks and knowledge transfer. No lock-in, no hostage codebases. Your team can take over anytime.

SERVICES / 04

Four service lines. Fixed scope, fixed price.

TESTIMONIALS

What clients say after launch.

They scoped it, priced it, shipped it. No drama, no surprise invoices. The API gateway they built handles 25k requests a minute and hasn't paged us once.

Our editors went from fighting the CMS to publishing in minutes. The headless migration paid for itself in the first quarter.

Senior people only. Every call was with the engineers writing the code. That alone was worth the contract.

We ran three agencies before Kedrilo. They were the first partner who came back with questions about our data model instead of a mood board. The storefront they shipped scores 98 on Lighthouse and hasn't missed a peak-season minute.

Fixed price, weekly deploys, and a Slack channel full of engineers — not account managers. Our operations team took over the system after launch without a single paid handover session.

The architecture documentation alone was worth the invoice. Our internal team now ships new features on top of their platform without ever touching our stack.

FAQ / 07

Questions we get before every contract.

Honest answers. No sales scripts. If your question isn't here, send it in the brief and we'll answer within 24 hours.

01PRICING

How does your pricing work?

We quote a fixed price after architecture review, never before. This means the number on the contract is the number on the invoice — no hourly surprises, no scope creep fees.

If scope changes mid-project, we pause, re-scope formally and issue a new fixed quote. You always approve the new price in writing before any extra work starts.

02TIMELINE

How long does a typical project take?

Most engagements run 4–12 weeks from kickoff to production launch. Small performance audits can wrap in 2–3 weeks. Full replatforms with microservices and CMS typically take 10–16 weeks.

You see working software from week one — we ship to staging every Friday and demo live features, not slides.

03TEAM

Who will actually work on my project?

The same senior engineers who scoped it. Every team member has 6+ years in production systems. No juniors learning on your budget, no account managers translating between you and the code.

You share a Slack channel with the people committing to your repository and join weekly calls directly with them.

04TECH

What technologies do you work with?

Our core stack is deliberately boring on purpose:

  • Front-end: React, Next.js, TypeScript
  • Back-end: Node.js, Go, Python
  • Data: PostgreSQL, Redis
  • CMS: Strapi, Sanity, Payload
  • Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Cloudflare

We pick the right tool for the job, not the trendiest one.

05OWNERSHIP

Will I own the code?

100%, from day one. We work directly in your repository (or spin up one you own) — you have full access to every commit from the moment we start.

When the engagement ends, you get complete documentation, runbooks and a knowledge transfer session. No lock-in, no hostage codebases, no recurring license fees.

06SUPPORT

Do you offer post-launch support?

Yes. After launch you can choose between:

  • Full handover to your internal team, with training and docs
  • Monthly retainer for ongoing development, monitoring and incident response
  • On-call support for critical systems

Most clients start with a 3-month retainer and transition to internal ownership once their team is comfortable.

07PROCESS

How do we communicate during the project?

You get a shared Slack channel with the engineers, a shared Kanban board and a weekly 30-minute demo call. Daily async updates in Slack keep everyone aligned without meeting overload.

For critical decisions we jump on a quick call. You never wait more than 24 hours for a response during working days.

08SCOPE

What if requirements change mid-project?

They always do — and that's fine. When a meaningful change comes up, we:

  1. Document the new requirement
  2. Estimate the impact on timeline and price
  3. Present a revised fixed quote for approval

Nothing ships without your written sign-off. Small tweaks (under half a day) are absorbed into the sprint without extra billing.
